The 29 Sign

Revelation 3: 15-16 NKJ
"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."

You may often see members of the 29th Chapter throwing up this sign at various gigs or in photos. In the hip-hop world many artists have hand signs that state their alliegience to specific gangs or man-made dynastys. In a world of greyness, blurred lines and half -heartedness, The 29th Chapter are here to make a difference. They are are here to live a life that does not sit on the fence and disappear into mediocrity.  Instead they seek to bring the life changing truth of Jesus to the world around them.

Knowing and having a relationship with Jesus is meant to radically change your life and the lives of those around you. Jesus’ love for us was so real and committed that He died an excruciating death for us on the cross. So when we throw up the 29 sign we are saying ‘I’m as sold out for Jesus as He was for me’. There is no grey area, no sitting on the fence. You are either up or you’re down, in or out, ride or run, hot or cold.
