After the great success of last years event, it is my privilege to invite you to join us for Acts 29’s second Annual Winter Fundraising Ball. The evening promises to be an unforgettable experience; an evening of fine food, song and dance with a view to raising further funds and support for the vital work of Acts 29 among young people throughout West London and the UK.

How much do we hope to raise?
On the night we hope to raise significant funds from donations, bids and pledges. Our fundraising target is £20,000 to facilitate projects that we aim to run over the course of 2008 (subject to adequate funds being secured).

What will the money be used for?
All donations and pledges will go to Acts 29 and will be directed towards 5 areas*:
  1. Extending the work of NuSkool Dance by establishing new classes;
  2. Developing new multi media resources for schools work;
  3. Running an Artist Development Day Conference called ‘Structurize’ aimed at encouraging and equipping the next generation of young evangelists;
  4. University Tours – 29th Chapter tour providing support and resources for University Christian Unions who are engaging in fresher fairs or mission weeks;
  5. Increasing employee benefits in line with inflation and other organisations.
* The emphasis with respect to order of finance allocation will got to point 3 and 4.

How can you help?

1. Buy a ticket for yourself and a friend or family member preferably someone with a generous heart and money to donate. You can purchase tickets via The 29th Chapter website (www.29thchapter.com) on the merchandise section (events tickets). You can also purchase tickets direct from The 29th Chapter’s office 0870 446 9060 (option 1) or by sending back the enclosed reply card with a cheque to the office. Donations can also be made direct to the Acts 29 bank account, details listed at the bottom of this page. Purchase  a ticket

2. Donate/Pledge/extend your current committed giving: The price of the tickets will actually only just about cover the cost of the event, so if you really want to support our work, please come with a generous heart and with your cheque book or cash ready to give. There will be pledge forms and envelopes available at each of the tables so you will be able to contribute in this manner.

3. Make a purchase/bid in the auction of promises: You can also participate in the Raffle and the Auction of Promises for one of our exclusive prizes kindly donated by various generous supporters. (See up to date auction items list)

4. Tell your friends: You can support the event by inviting friends or people of influence who may add further support and value to the work of Acts 29.

5. Come prepared: please come with a generous heart, your cheque book, card or cash. There will be a bank card facility available on the day should you wish to donate or make payments this way. Also if you are a UK tax payer and are making a cash or cheque donation you can help us even further by signing a Gift Aid form which will allow us to claim an additional 28p for each pound that you donate.
